Additional Requirements To Accompany Adult Application
In addition to completing the adult application to join the leadership at BSA Troop 267, there are several other things to complete prior to submission. I apologize for the extra time required to complete the prerequisites, but it is the best way for BSA to ensure the safety of all children involved. This may take several weeks, so please get started right away.
1. Obtain and upload the three required clearance documents. Details here.
2. Complete your position specific training. Save a copy (screen shot is OK) of your completion certificate.
- Create a user account at my.scouting.org. (if you already have a login and password, use those credentials)
- Login and choose BSA Learn Center.
- Choose "Boy Scout" then "Troop Committee Training."
3. At that same learning center, complete "Youth Protection Training." Save a copy (screen shot is OK) of your completion certificate.
4. You are encouraged to complete all other relevant training on this site.
