Welcome to Scouts BSA Troop 479 and 5479
Troop 479 (boy troop) and Troop 5479 (girl troop) are chartered by and meets at: Family of Christ Lutheran Church at 13001 NW 36th Avenue, Vancouver, WA. Meetings are held at the church Monday evenings from 7:00pm to 8:30pm. If there is no school, there is usually no scout meeting
Our Mission Statement: Working as a team of Scouts, Parents, and Adult Leaders, Scout Troop 479 and 5479 will offer enjoyable and challenging programs for all Scouts to develop the confidence, skills, mental and physical fitness, and character that will allow them to give quality leadership to a changing society.
Scouting teaches Life skills, Leadership skills, Outdoor skills, and Planning skills. Scouting changes lives!
