Welcome to Scouting BSA. We are Troop 233B and Troop 233G – award-winning High Adventure Troops located in Northwest San Antonio, Leon Springs area since 1966. We have found that high adventure and variety of activities helps with scouts and adults to maintain long lasting interest in scouting.

Meeting Time

Our boy and girl troops meet every Monday - 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m

(No regular Troop meetings the Monday after Campouts, Spring Break, Summer Break, or Christmas Break)

   Troop 233B and Troop 233G - A Little About Us

• We are active award-winning High Adventure Troops. 
• Our Scouting program helps prepare youth to make moral and ethical decisions over a lifetime.
• Scouting helps our youth to learn and practice leadership, develop life skills, become citizen patriots, and to make friendships and memories.
• We also have a very high Eagle Scout Success Rate for the scouts in our Troops (>80%)! 
• We camp almost every month except after summer camps due to the heat or during major holidays breaks.
• We try to do a minimum of one regular summer camp and one high adventure summer camp each year such as Philmont, Northern Tier, Florida SeaBase, and Summit Bechtel Reserve. 
• You do not have to be a member of the Lutheran High School to be a member.

Lutheran High School of San Antonio challenges how education has always been done so our results are more dramatic. We believe all students can be leaders, innovators, and difference makers. The reason LHS is not interested in education’s status quo is because we know when students are challenged with customized college prep curriculum and the most advanced classroom tools they dramatically develop. Lutheran High School supports the BSA Scouting Program because of the positive impact it has on the lives of our youth through the development of well-rounded leaders that impact our community and families. Youth in Scouting are taught to follow the Godly principles found in the Scout Oath, Law, and Motto to guide them while they have fun learning new skills and experiencing outdoor adventures.
