Who We Are

Formed in February 2019, and officially chartered on March 24, 2019, we are a Scouts BSA Troop 5457 Troop based out of Midway United Methodist Church in Alpharetta, GA.  Our mission is to encourage female youth (from rising sixth graders to 18 years) in their character development through the Scout Oath, the Scout Law, and an outdoor program that provides opportunities to have fun adventures and make new friends.  While having fun, Scouts gain many important life skills such as self-reliance, personal confidence, leadership skills, and much more.  

What We Do

We currently meet most Wednesday nights at 7:00-8:30 pm at the Scout Hut at Midway United Methodist Church, 5025 Atlanta Hwy, Alpharetta, GA 30004.  Also, our Scouts plan monthly outings from camping to big trips to Lock-ins.  Our adventures have included:

• Summer Camps,
• Canyon Backpacking,
• Snow Tubing, 
• Whitewater Rafting,
• And More!

Our weekly meetings and our outings are designed around advancement and Scout skills including--but not limited to--camping, cooking, first aid, fire building, and knots.  For more details about our events, please check out our Calendar and our list of past outings.
