At Saint James Troop 7 we pride ourselves on being active and adventurous. Having fun while learning through adventure is our priority…….. for the youth AND the adults!
We're over 100 years in service to our community and our neighbors in Saint James~
WHAT WE DO~!
1- The Scouting "Season" is from September to June.
2- We meet Monday every week (exceptions are holidays and other special reasons that arise from time to time).
3- Each month we schedule a weekend campout or some other adventurous and fun outing.
4- Saint James Troop 7 has a proprietary relationship with our LAKE AVENUE (Main Street). We put flags up/down for Flag Day, Memorial Day, 9/11, Veterans Day and other significant patriotic, community oriented celebrations.
5- We place flags on fallen veterans graves prior to Memorial Day and take flags down after Memorial Day.
6- We go to summer camp (Usually Ten Mile River - Camp Keowa) 1 week each summer
7- We camp at Short Beach 1 weekend during the summer (usually a canoe/kayak trip on the Nissequoge is included during this weekend event)
