Welcome To BSA Troop 1011

Woodsboro, Maryland 

We are a year-round Scouting program for boys aged 11 to 17, or who are 10, have achieved the Arrow of Light rank or have finished the 5th grade. We are a participating member of the Francis Scott Key District of the National Capital Area Council. 

We have been chartered since 1999, currently through the American Legion Post 282 in Woodsboro, where we meet Thursdays from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. 

Troop 1011 is proud to offer a diverse program with includes plenty of opportunities to get outdoors. Camping, hiking, canoeing, snow tubing, amusement parks, and flashlight tours of caverns are all part of an active outdoor program designed by the Boy Scouts of Troop 1011. Scouts also have the chance to attend two summer camps a year, one of which the Scouts decide upon collectively.
