Recharter Commitments

Hi Everyone,

I'm in the process of recharting our scouts and our Troop.  As you know, we are not actively recruiting this year because we do not have leadership to hand the troop off to moving forward.  I will make a huge assumption that all the older scouts who are on track to Ealge or age out will in 2025.  

That being said, for the younger/new scouts.  Now is the time to make a decision on your scouting life post Troop 47.  If you think now is the time to jump troops or give up on scouting, we totally understand.  Let me know ASAP if you do not want to continue on in Scouting next year. This way, I don't renew your membership and charge you dues.  If you want to continue in scouting, I will renew your membership, and we are happy to keep mentoring you until the end, or until you decide you want to move troops.  We can help you with that too.

I know this isn't the cheeriest email at this time of year, but we're just trying to be transparent about our future.

Keep an eye on the calendar. The scouts made the decision to skip some meetings during the break, but I'm not sure which ones.
