Troop 95 has a legacy of more than 65 years providing Scouting opportunities to youth in Homewood, Alabama

Troop meetings are Monday evenings at Shades Valley Lutheran Church
(720 Shades Creek Parkway near Highway 280)

Membership is open to boys ages 11-18.

Our troop follows the time-tested Patrol Method, guided by the Mission, Vision, Aims and Methods of Scouts BSA.

Monthly outdoor excursions include backpacking, camping, kayaking, skiing, archery, cooking and other skills-based activities. Scouts also have opportunities to attend summer camp, high adventure bases, and advanced leadership courses,

Scouts advance in rank by demonstrating skills, doing community service, and by showing leadership in the troop. They explore vocations and hobbies by earning Merit Badges.
