Welcome to Troop 216!
We are a Boy led Troop in Trussville, AL. Our charter dates back to 1960 and our Chartering organization is the Trussville Parks and Recreation Board. We meet every Tuesday night at the Trussville Park and Recreation Board campus at 601 Parkway Drive from 7:00-8:30pm.
We are a very active Troop. Every August our Patrol Leadership Committee of Scouts meets to plan out the Troop's outings calendar for the next year. We have at least one overnight outing a month. Our Scouts aim to plan events that will challenge the Troop both mentally and physically. They strive to plan outings that develop leadership skills, encourage advancement and build strong character and instill a sense of service to the community. Our Troop attends Summer Camp every June and a BSA High Adventure Camp every July.
We also partner with our sister Troop: 216G and Cub Scout Pack 3216.
