Combined Troop Model pilot has begun!

The Woodland Host Lions have agreed to allow Troop 69 to participate in Scouting America's Combined Troop model pilot program which will run from September 2024 through July of 2025.  The combined troop pilot is in response to requests from troops all over the country who have asked for this to be an option for charter organizations and individual units to consider.  The combined troop will allow young women in Woodland the same access to Scouting America's adventures, service projects and leadership opportunities that our young men have enjoyed for more than 90 years in Troop 69.

Troop 69 is located in Woodland, CA and chartered by the Woodland Host Lions.  

We are currently a combined troop (we are participating in a national pilot program) and are always open to welcoming new male and female youth between the ages of 11 and 17.

We are an active troop that strives to be as youth led as possible.  We have a full year of fun activities and merit badge sessions planned based around what our scouts are interested in doing.  Interested families can join us at the scout cabin (515 Lincoln) Wednesday nights between 6:30 and 8:00pm or reach out to Committee Chair Kim at kjolsen09@gmail.com to learn more.
