Who are we?

Scouts BSA Troop 557 is a combined boy/girl Troop open to all youth, age 11 to 18, interested in the Scouts BSA (a Boy Scouts of America program). The Troop meets in Redmond but is open to youth from any area. The goal of the Troop is to have fun while teaching the BSA values of adventure, leadership, service and personal growth. The Troop strives to be Scout-led with guidance from adult leadership and runs within the guidelines of Scouts BSA and the spirit of the Scout Oath and Scout Law.

Family Scouting

For the first time in its 100+ year history, the iconic program of the Boy Scouts of America will be open to young women.  Scouts BSA is a year-round program for boys and girls in fifth grade through high school that provides fun, adventure, learning, challenge, and responsibility to help them become the best version of themselves.  In Scouts BSA, young men and women go places, test themselves, and have one-of-a-kind adventures that can’t be found anywhere else.
