Troop 111 strives to be a scout-run troop that is focused on the Patrol Method of scouting.
We believe:
- Great growth and experience come from scouting and its opportunities for responsibility and leadership.
- Scouting is important in helping boys learn to become men that others will respect and look up to throughout their lives.

We have found that a scout will get as much out of scouting as he puts into it. Family support and adult participation certainly contribute to a scout’s enjoyment, advancement and their level of interest. There are numerous opportunities for involvement with your scout.
We realize there are several other opportunities for growth and personal achievement such as sports, music and academics etc… We encourage all growth opportunities and realize that conflicts will exist. We understand.
Many personal achievement opportunities, including scouting, teach leadership, organizational and social skills but the values the Boy Scouts of America strive to instill are those found in the Scout Oath

On my honor,
I will do my best
To do my duty
to God and my country
and to obey the Scout Law;
To help other people at all times
To keep myself physically
strong, mentally awake,
and morally straight.
