Camp Card Fundraiser

Camp Card Sales Are Here!  Start Selling March 15, 2025 – May 1, 2025!

We’re Asking All Scouts to Sell 10 Camp cards. 100% of that profit will go to the Troop. Anything beyond the 10 camp cards sold will go to the Scouts account. Why not sell camp cards to pay for your $100 dues collected in September?  Get the boys out of their comfort zone and help our Troop!! 

Price: $10 per Camp Card
Your Scouting Unit Earns: $5 for every card sold after they sell 10 camp cards for Troop 709.
Final Payment Due: May 1st 

Committee Meeting- February 24th

Our next committee meeting will take place on February 24th during the troop meeting. 

Summer Camp 2025 - June 1st-7th

Hale Scout Reservation

Sign up for camp BEFORE March 1st = $370 total for each camper. 

Sign up after March 1st = $400. 

All that is required to sign up is $200 (half).  The other half will be due in April.

Service Opportunities

For each rank there are service hours required, which gets a scout in the rhythm of doing a good turn daily and helping the community where you live. Here are some opportunities:

-Keep Flower Mound Beautiful.  Besides the Bi-annual big events we do as a troop, they have monthly clean ups at different locations. (Conservation Service Hours)  Check it out here:  https://kfmb.org/home

-Lovepacs. This is a local organization that provides food for children in need.  See website page for Lewisville/Flomo area here: Lovepacs Lewisville

-LLELA. Local preservation and restoration of wildlife organization.  They have 1st and 2nd Saturday events.  (Conservation Service Hours). Here: https://www.llela.org/about/volunteering

Backpacking Trip- Arkansas - March 8-11th
