Troops 148 B&G are scout-led units, living by the scout oath and law. We develop young men and young women into active and responsible citizens and leaders through outdoor activities, community service, and career/hobby exploration through merit badge work.

We have fun with a purpose!

Welcome to the members of Troop 148

This is the members site for Troop 148. It provides easy access to your advancement records, financial information, upcoming events and scouting forms. You can sign-up for activities, check out books or equipment, and also contact other scouts or troop leaders. Please scroll down for more detailed information regarding this site.

Meetings

Both troops meet at 6:30 on Tuesday nights. Our meetings are typically located at Narrows View Middle School. The young men's troop and the young women's troop meet at the same location and time but with a rotating program schedule incorporating joint and separate activities. Occasionally the location changes, please refer to our calendar for accurate weekly information. Any youth between the ages of 11-17 interested in learning more about scouting or joining Troop 148B or Troop 148G is welcome and encouraged to attend.

Fall Camporee

Fall Camporee at Thunderbird is coming FAST!

October 16-18. Please be sure to sign-up on the Troop Webhost Calendar that you are attending.  We need to get final numbers to the council before it fills up!  This is the primary Outdoor Activity for both the Girls Unit and the Boys Unit for October.  Great Weather, Great Food, a Great Time!

SEPTEMBER DATES

9/22 - SCOUT OPEN HOUSE, BOTH UNITS, BRING YOUR FRIENDS TO MOUNT CROSS!

  • 5:30 girls unit arrives for elections and prep.
  • 6:30-8:00, great stations to visit at Mount Cross
  • Scouts working of Personal Fitness MB will be working across street doing their test.
  • Older scouts will be manning stations
  • Info table set up for adults.
  • Both units will find time to hold elections

 

9/29 - TROOP MEETINGS & PLC MEETINGS, Training for new troop jobs,

10/6 - FIRST COURT OF HONOR, RECEIVE YOUR SUMMER CAMP AWARDS

Pictures of the Month - HIKING!

Both units finished the summer strong with outdoor hikes and backpacking.  Troop 148G conquered the Hyak Animal Tunnel and Troop 148B locked in their 2nd backpack in 2 weeks with a 20 Mile Back back. AMAZING
